Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation (DHCHF) is proud to announce that through donor support, they have been able to purchase additional equipment related to COVID-19 and infection control at Delta Hospital.
In 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic emerged, DHCHF launched the Delta Hospital COVID-19 Response Fund to support the urgent and ongoing needs surrounding the pandemic. Due to the generosity of the community towards this Fund, DHCHF was able to purchase infection control equipment, protective equipment and critical infrastructure enhancements. This tremendous support from the community helped to ensure that Delta’s healthcare team had the support and tools they needed during the pandemic.
This Fund continues to be utilized to purchase vital equipment that supports Delta Hospital’s dedicated frontline workers as they resume pre-pandemic volumes at the highest standard of infection control. Recently, DHCHF was able to purchase additional equipment including a blood bank refrigerator, ECG carts, a bladder scanner, and an infection control tent with HEPA vacuum.
